About the Role

This Full Stack Engineer role involves developing high-quality software in an agile fashion, leveraging a range of technologies including Java, Scala, and cloud-based tools. As a generalist, you'll work across multiple layers of the tech stack, from front-end development with Angular to back-end development with Java and Scala.

Day-to-day, you'll be working on building and maintaining complex software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software applications using Java, Scala, and cloud-based technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery of software products.
• Develop and maintain complex software systems, leveraging expertise in front-end development with Angular, back-end development with Java and Scala, and database modeling.
• Work with automated testing frameworks and build tools to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in software development.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, ensuring that knowledge is shared across teams and stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and Scala programming languages.
• Experience with front-end development using Angular or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of distributed compute concepts, including Spark, DataBricks, and Apache Beam.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, including Azure Cloud and Snowflake.
• Understanding of database modeling and relational databases, including Sybase.
• Unix experience and proficiency in working with cloud-based tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications in software development, cloud computing, or related areas.
