Associate Field Professional &amp MWD

About the Role

As an Associate Field Professional & MWD, you will be responsible for providing on-site supervision of the Measurement-While-Drilling (MWD) process, including tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation, and Quality Control (QC). You will work under strict supervision and serve as a third person in a subordinate role, providing technical and operational expertise to external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of the MWD process, including tool preparations and data acquisition.
• Generate logs and perform Quality Control (QC) to ensure accurate and reliable data.
• Maintain equipment inventory and supervise movement to and from well sites.
• Check equipment and advise repair requirements.
• Maintain computer databases for ongoing jobs, prepare job tickets, daily reports, and end-of-well reports.
• Perform assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering and measurement while drilling principles.
• Provide technical and operational expertise to external customers.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline (preferred).
• Data acquisition and log generation skills.
• Data entry skills.
• Ability to read and interpret formation well logs and directional survey information.
• Relevant on and offshore safety certificates.
• Good communication, arithmetic, and recording skills.
