About the Role

NatWest Group is hiring candidates for the role of Software Engineer for the Bengaluru, Karnataka, India locations.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutions.
• Work within a feature team and use extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that are often complex.
• Liaise with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.
• Produce complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the business.
• Collaborate to optimise software engineering capability.
• Design, produce, test and implement working code.

What You'll Need

• A background in software engineering, software design, architecture and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.
• Experience in developing backend applications using .NET Core and C# building scalable and high-performance APIs and microservices.
• Experience in designing and deploying cloud-native solutions on Azure, leveraging App Services, Azure Functions, and AKS.
• Experience in MongoDB to design data models, optimize queries, and handle large-scale and distributed data.
• Experience of implementing unit and integration tests using frameworks like xUnit, NUnit and MSTest, ensuring high code quality and reliability.
