Accountant (Auditor office)

About the Role

As an Accountant in the Auditor office at Offshore Accounting and Taxation Services, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will work closely with the audit team to provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks will include data entry, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded.
• Conduct audits and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in Xero, MS Office, and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Knowledge of Australia Tax Software and its applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
