Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Intern

About the Role

Oogway Labs is hiring multiple Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Interns for an internship-to-full-time opportunity aimed at final-year students and recent graduates who want to work on real AI projects. We collaborate with startups and enterprises to build AI solutions for real business problems by understanding workflows, building solutions, deploying them, and iterating based on real-world performance.

While an SDE focuses on core platforms and infrastructure, an FDE works closely with clients to understand their problems and build tailored solutions that integrate with their data, systems, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and share progress clearly.
• Add AI to real business workflows.
• Build AI-ready data systems.
• Develop multi-agent workflows and RAG systems.
• Build LLM evaluation pipelines.
• Test and improve AI applications.

What You'll Need

• Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to listen, ask good questions, and explain ideas clearly.
• Clear thinking, curiosity, willingness to learn, sense of ownership, and teamwork skills.
• Strong programming fundamentals in any language (Python and JavaScript preferred).
• A good understanding of prompting, RAG, and LLM APIs.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, SQL, and databases.
