QA Engineer - Fullstack Android Origination Delivery - Plata Card

About the Role

As a QA Engineer - Fullstack Android Origination Delivery - Plata Card at OpenTalent, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Android-based origination delivery platform for Plata Card. This involves testing and validating the fullstack functionality, from user interface to backend services, to guarantee seamless user experience and high-quality delivery.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and design, to identify and prioritize testing efforts, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve defects and improve the overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for Android-based origination delivery platform, including unit testing, integration testing, and UI testing.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python, Java, and other relevant tools to ensure efficient and effective testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts, and provide timely feedback on defects and issues.
• Work with product teams to understand product requirements and develop test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Develop and maintain test data, including test scripts, test cases, and test environments.
• Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with Python, Java, and other programming languages, including knowledge of testing frameworks and libraries.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, gRPC, and other relevant technologies for testing and validation.
• Experience with mobile testing, including Android and iOS platforms.
• Proficiency in Git and other version control systems.
• Knowledge of CICD pipelines and automation tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
