About the Role
A Chartered Accountant in this general role will be responsible for managing and preparing financial statements, conducting tax audits and assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations such as the Companies Act and Income Tax Act.
They will also be involved in preparing MIS reports, analyzing financial data, and providing recommendations to stakeholders.
This role requires a strong understanding of indirect and direct taxation, as well as statutory and internal audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct tax audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare MIS reports to provide insights into financial performance and trends.
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Companies Act and Income Tax Act.
- Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure internal controls are in place.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in taxation laws and regulations and provide guidance to stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
- Strong understanding of indirect and direct taxation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Experience with MIS reporting and data analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
