Software Engineer - MERN

About the Role

As a MERN Stack Developer at Paathz, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions that cater to the hospitality industry.

Day-to-day, you will work on developing and maintaining full-stack web applications, building responsive and high-performance user interfaces using React.js, and designing and developing RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
• Build responsive and high-performance user interfaces using React.js.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with MongoDB for database design, queries, and optimization.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and data structures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
