Data Scientist (Part-time, Equity only)

About the Role

As a Data Scientist at pd consulting, you will play a key role in building the intelligence layer of HiWox, a technology-driven healthcare and wellness ecosystem. Your primary responsibility will be to develop machine learning models, wellness scoring algorithms, and predictive models using multi-dimensional health data. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, AI engineers, and product managers to translate scientific healthcare knowledge into intelligent digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build HiWox's AI-Powered Wellness Intelligence Engine by developing machine learning models, wellness scoring algorithms, risk prediction models, and personalized recommendation systems using multi-dimensional health data.
• Design scalable data pipelines for collecting, cleaning, integrating, and analyzing data from health assessments, wearable devices, nutrition logs, fitness tracking, consultations, behavioral patterns, and user interactions.
• Develop predictive models for disease risk assessment, lifestyle adherence, customer engagement, wellness outcomes, churn prediction, and personalized intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, AI engineers, product managers, and software developers to translate scientific healthcare knowledge into intelligent digital solutions.
• Build business intelligence dashboards, analytics frameworks, KPI tracking systems, and automated reporting tools to support product development, customer success, operations, and strategic decision-making.
• Conduct research on healthcare AI, digital biomarkers, behavioral analytics, generative AI, and emerging technologies while contributing to publications, patents, and long-term R&D initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Background in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Visualization, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience in recommendation systems, predictive analytics, NLP, time-series analysis, computer vision, or healthcare AI is preferred.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and MLOps workflows is an added advantage.
• Passion for healthcare innovation, AI research, and solving real-world healthcare challenges.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and build products from scratch.
