Frond End Engineer

About the Role

As a Front End Engineer at Persistent Systems, you'll be responsible for building modern, scalable, and high-performance applications using React Native and React.js. You'll work in a micro-product or microservices-based environment, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Day-to-day, you'll focus on developing and maintaining web and mobile applications, integrating frontend applications with backend services developed in Python and deployed on AWS, and participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web and mobile applications using React.js and React Native.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Build reusable UI components and optimize applications for maximum performance.
• Work within micro-product or micro-frontend architectures and ensure seamless integration across systems.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services developed in Python and deployed on AWS.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in production environments.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React Native and React.js.
• Good understanding of micro-product architecture and distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of Python backend services.
• Understanding of AWS core services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.
• Experience with modern frontend development practices and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, a bonus but not mandatory.
