About the Role

As a Medical Intern at Pfizer, you will immerse yourself in the day‑to‑day operations of the Medical Affairs team, supporting therapy‑area advisors on priority assets. Your tasks will range from drafting clinical content and coordinating events to managing digital campaigns and maintaining regulatory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing scientific presentations, manuscripts, and slide decks for internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate logistics for medical conferences, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
  • Support the creation and editing of digital content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and archive local documentation, including meeting minutes and compliance records.
  • Participate in process‑improvement initiatives, identifying bottlenecks and proposing workflow enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, regulatory, R&D) to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to draft content, analyze data, and streamline repetitive tasks.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an MD or PharmD program with a focus on Pharmacology or related fields.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital platforms (SharePoint, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of clinical trial design, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory submissions.
  • Experience with administrative tasks, calendar management, and document control.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under moderate supervision and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of AI tools and a curiosity to explore their application in pharma workflows.
