Backend Engineer-NodeJS

About the Role

As a Backend Engineer-NodeJS at PradeepIT Consulting Services, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, database integration, and API connectivity of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.

Day-to-day, you will write clean, efficient, and well-documented Node.js code, leveraging popular frameworks and libraries such as Express.js and MongoDB. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging issues, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data security and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, efficient, and well-documented Node.js APIs using Express.js and other popular frameworks.
• Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate back-end services and ensure seamless user experience.
• Develop and maintain database schema, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and security.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software applications.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Experience with SQL databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Redis and other in-memory data stores.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP, and experience with cloud-based services.
• Experience with full-stack development, including front-end frameworks like Angular or Flutter.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
