Executive Audit & Tax

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting-related documents. You will also be involved in conducting audits and providing tax advisory services to clients.

As an Audit and Tax executive, you will work closely with the team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax laws. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and providing support to clients during tax seasons.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting-related documents.
• Conduct audits and provide tax advisory services to clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client transactions and financial data.
• Provide support to clients during tax seasons, including responding to queries and resolving issues.
• Assist in the implementation of accounting and tax policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their accounting and tax needs.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax laws, and provide recommendations to the team.

Skills & Qualifications

• Tally ERP: Proficient in using Tally ERP for accounting and financial management.
• MS Excel: Skilled in using MS Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
• Good English Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Accounting: Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Tax Audits Income Tax: Familiarity with tax laws and regulations, including income tax and other indirect taxes.
• Bookkeeping: Skilled in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client transactions and financial data.
• GST: Knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) laws and regulations.
• TDS: Familiarity with Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) laws and regulations.
• Chartered Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent, with a certification in Chartered Accountancy (CA).
