Accountant

About the Role

As an Accountant at Premier, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. This role involves working closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will also be involved in budgeting and forecasting, as well as cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform variance analysis to identify areas of inefficiency and suggest improvements.
• Manage general ledger accounts, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting, including preparing financial models and analyzing data.
• Conduct cash flow management, including forecasting and analyzing cash inflows and outflows.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Tally or QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with journal entries, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under deadlines.
