About the Role

As an Associate in Financial Services Deals, you will be working closely with a team of experienced professionals to advise clients on complex financial transactions and regulatory matters. Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting research, analyzing data, and developing strategic plans to meet client needs. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from mergers and acquisitions to fundraising and restructuring.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on financial transactions, regulatory matters, and market trends.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to meet client needs and achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including lawyers, accountants, and other professionals, to deliver client projects.
• Analyze data and financial information to identify trends and opportunities for clients.
• Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other materials to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry developments that impact clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of tax planning, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and financial information.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare and present reports and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with tax regulations, including direct tax and FEMA.
• Knowledge of company law and other relevant legislation.
