About the Role

As an Associate Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be working on the development and implementation of software solutions for various platforms, including Linux, Android, and Windows. Your primary focus will be on creating and maintaining Board Support Packages (BSPs) for these platforms. You will also be involved in the development of IoT technologies for various applications, such as connected cameras, smart assistants, drones, virtual reality, and augmented reality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement software solutions for various platforms, including Linux, Android, and Windows.
  • Design and create Board Support Packages (BSPs) for these platforms.
  • Work on the development of IoT technologies for various applications, such as connected cameras, smart assistants, drones, virtual reality, and augmented reality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions with hardware components.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the software industry and apply this knowledge to improve existing solutions and develop new ones.
  • Document and maintain software development processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Linux, Android, and Windows platforms.
  • Experience with Board Support Packages (BSPs) and their development.
  • Familiarity with IoT technologies and their applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Java.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools, such as Agile and Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
