About the Role
As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be responsible for developing real-time embedded software and device drivers, as well as mobile SW development for Windows Mobile, Android, or Linux. You will work on various areas such as OS concepts, data structures, C/C++ and object-oriented design, wireless network standards, and multimedia technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers for various platforms.
- Design and develop mobile SW for Windows Mobile, Android, or Linux.
- Work on wireless network standards such as CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE.
- Develop Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, and Linux Kernel Development.
- Design and develop multimedia technologies including Audio, Video, Imaging.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement software solutions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Excellent understanding of OS concepts, data structures, and C/C++ programming.
- Good knowledge of wireless network standards, Linux/UNIX, and multimedia technologies.
- Ability to design and develop software solutions using object-oriented programming.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Android, Window Mobile, and Linux development.
