About the Role

As a Tableau Developer at Recognized, you will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, a leading business intelligence tool. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create data visualizations, and implement data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Your day-to-day tasks will involve working with large datasets, creating complex data models, and developing custom visualizations to meet the needs of various stakeholders. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating existing dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to support business decision-making.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, create data visualizations, and implement data-driven insights.
• Develop custom visualizations to meet the needs of various stakeholders, including senior management and operational teams.
• Maintain and update existing dashboards to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to integrate data from various sources and create a unified data model.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data visualizations and dashboards, including data sources, metrics, and assumptions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve data visualizations and dashboards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Tableau Developer certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems, including AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop creative solutions.
