Analyst, Investment Finance (G&A)

About the Role

In this Analyst, Investment Finance (G&A) role, you'll be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You'll work closely with the finance team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize financial performance.

As an Investment Finance Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of financial projects, from financial statement analysis to budgeting and forecasting. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and tax filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform variance analysis to identify areas of financial performance that require attention.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including IFRS and ASPE.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and tax filings.
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize financial performance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, including IFRS and ASPE.
• Proficient in financial software, including Excel, and accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
