Associate QA Tester Build Verification

About the Role

As an Associate QA Tester for Build Verification, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our software builds. This involves testing various aspects of our products, identifying bugs and defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Day-to-day, you will work closely with our development team to verify that our software meets the required standards, and that it functions as expected. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in identifying and reporting defects, and in working with our development team to resolve them.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a fresher to gain hands-on experience in software testing, and to develop a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Test software builds to ensure they meet the required standards and functionality
• Identify and report defects and bugs in our software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to resolve issues and improve software quality
• Develop and maintain test cases and test plans to ensure comprehensive testing coverage
• Communicate test results and defects to development teams and stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our software remains competitive and relevant

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• Experience with testing tools and technologies, such as JIRA, TestRail, or Selenium
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report defects
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Knowledge of gaming consoles and PCs, as well as gaming ability
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
