SMI Data Analyst 1

About the Role

As a Data Analyst at RSM US LLP, you will be responsible for creating high-quality presentations and reports to support business decision-making. You will work closely with senior analysts to translate data into clear, executive-ready deliverables and support deeper dive analysis by extracting and interpreting data from existing reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine executive-ready PowerPoint presentations to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with leadership expectations.
• Translate data outputs, dashboards, and analyst insights into compelling visual narratives.
• Partner with US/Canada-based analysts to iterate on next-level deep requests and enhance storytelling.
• Extract, compile, and analyze data from existing reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel).
• Support deeper-dive analyses by identifying trends, variances, and key performance drivers.
• Validate data accuracy and ensure alignment between reporting outputs and presentation materials.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Business Analytics, or Marketing.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and work with large datasets.
• Business Intelligence skills, including knowledge of Power BI and SQL.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work autonomously and part of a team.
• Effective organization and time management skills.
