About the Role
The Graduate Engineer Trainee programme at SAN Automotive Industries Pvt. Ltd. is designed to provide fresh engineers with practical exposure across key engineering departments, including production, new product development, quality, tool development, process and product design.
Selected candidates will work with experienced supervisors and engineers to understand the complete manufacturing process, from engineering drawings and tool development to production, inspection and final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily production and engineering activities, working closely with supervisors to understand machines, tools and manufacturing processes.
- Study engineering drawings, product specifications and process requirements to ensure seamless production and quality control.
- Assist in new product trials, sample development and process improvement to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Support tool trials, tooling corrections and development activities to maintain high-quality production standards.
- Participate in quality inspection and root-cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
- Prepare reports, presentations and data analysis using Excel and PowerPoint to communicate key findings and insights.
- Use AI and digital tools for research, documentation and productivity improvement to stay ahead of the curve.
Skills & Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Good understanding of basic mechanical engineering concepts, including mechanics, thermodynamics and materials science.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing plant and shop-floor environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data analysis and presentation creation.
- Comfortable using computers, digital tools and AI platforms to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications, with a focus on interpretation and application.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn, take responsibility and work across different departments to drive business growth and innovation.
- Preferred skills include exposure to AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA or similar design software, sheet-metal manufacturing, production engineering, quality tools and tool and die development.
