Financial Accountant- Asset Management (Bengaluru)

About the Role

As a Financial Accountant- Asset Management, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of asset management operations. This includes preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will also be involved in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IFRS.
• Reconcile and analyze financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including filing of tax returns and maintenance of tax records.
• Conduct audits and reviews of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
• Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with financial accounting software, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Professional certification in accounting, such as CA or CMA, is preferred.
