About the Role

In this Accountant, Financial Accounting role at SCG, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing timely financial reports to stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for process improvements. You will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to help the organization make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, such as tax laws and accounting standards.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of fixed assets, inventory, and other assets.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting to help the organization make informed business decisions.
• Prepare and review audit reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in financial software, such as Tally or QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of fixed assets, inventory accounting, and statutory reporting.
