About the Role
As an Account Assistant at Shpl Food Llp, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing support to the accounting team in preparing financial statements and reports.
Day-to-day tasks will include reconciling accounts, managing ledger entries, and maintaining purchase and sales records. You will also be involved in preparing and submitting GST returns and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Manage ledger entries and maintain accurate accounting records
- Prepare and submit GST returns on time
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Maintain purchase and sales records and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Support the accounting team in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of tax compliance and GST regulations
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and TallyPrime
- Experience with ledger management and accounting records
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Degree in Commerce or related field (B.Com, M.Com, etc.)
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
