Analytics Intern

About the Role

As an Analytics Intern at Smith & Nephew's gynecology business, you will learn how to build dashboards, reports, and insights using tools like Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Learning to design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Assisting in creating data models and calculations under guidance from senior team members.
• Supporting the team in maintaining documentation and analytics processes.
• Participating in discussions on automation, analytics standardization, and Agile practices.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and understanding of datasets.
• Knowledge about machine learning fundamentals (regression, clustering, classification).
• Knowledge of Python and its usage in data modelling and ML.
• Exposure to AI/ Gen AI tools.
