Tally Accountant

About the Role

As a Tally Accountant at SMR Informatics, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax laws. You will work closely with the finance team to prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Day-to-day tasks will include data entry, account reconciliations, and generating reports using Tally ERP software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial data entry, including journal entries, invoices, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate reports using Tally ERP software to support business decisions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and GST.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP software, including data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
