Intern - Flood Modelling

Support the delivery of various projects, with a focus on integrated water management, including hydrodynamic catchment modelling, water quality modelling, and sustainable drainage.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in collecting, organizing, and processing utility asset information from multiple sources.
• Work with the flood management team on various software such as HEC RAS, FMP, TUFLOW, and ICM.
• Maintain and update project databases and systems.
• Perform basic data entry, validation, and quality checks.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to project teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with UK stakeholders.
• Monitor assigned tasks and ensure timely completion under guidance.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to knowledge development.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Master’s in Water resource engineering.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and proactive mindset.
