Specialist Software Engineer - Java

About the Role

Join Societe Generale Global Solution Centre as a Specialist Software Engineer - Java in Bengaluru / Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This is a Full Time opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions via software craftmanship (behaviour driven development, test driven development, continuous delivery, etc.) and contribute to the development of the SG Markets platform
• Define the software architecture with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Application Architects
• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage the application's technical backlog
• Code and ensure the quality of your team's delivery
• Actively participate in production releases
• Participate in continuous improvement (technical, organizational and process)

What You'll Need

• Expert with frontend development stack React/Angular/Typescript
• Good experience with backend technologies like Java and SpringBoot
• Knowledge of tools like Git, Jira, etc
• Unit, E2E testing for the frontend Dev stack
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Azure is added advantage
