About the Role

As an SDE Intern at Spyne, you’ll dive into building and refining both frontend and backend components of AI‑driven automotive retail tools. Daily tasks include coding new features in React.js, creating RESTful services in Node.js, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to turn product sketches into scalable, production‑ready code.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement responsive UI components using React.js and modern CSS techniques.
• Design and expose REST APIs with Node.js, ensuring proper authentication and error handling.
• Interact with relational or NoSQL databases to fetch, store, and transform data for analytics dashboards.
• Debug production issues, trace root causes, and optimize performance for high‑traffic scenarios.
• Participate in code reviews, adhering to best practices such as linting, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with AI and product teams to translate user stories into technical specifications.
• Document feature designs and maintain clear, up‑to‑date technical notes for future developers.

Skills & Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or related field (or final year student).
• Strong grasp of Data Structures & Algorithms, demonstrated through coursework or coding contests.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, with hands‑on experience in React.js and/or Node.js.
• Basic knowledge of REST API design, HTTP methods, and JSON payloads.
• Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub) and collaborative workflows.
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
