About the Role

This E-commerce Accounting Associate role involves working on real-world e-commerce accounting challenges for international clients, including Shopify and Amazon sellers, payment gateways, and multi-currency payouts. You'll be responsible for performing bank and payment gateway reconciliations, reconciling marketplace settlement reports against the general ledger, and supporting inventory and COGS tracking across SKUs and channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bank and payment gateway reconciliations (Shopify, Amazon, Stripe/PayPal)
• Reconcile marketplace settlement reports against the general ledger
• Assist in monthly P&L preparation and variance commentary
• Support inventory and COGS tracking across SKUs and channels
• Work daily in Excel and Xero, plus internal reconciliation tools
• Develop and maintain accurate and efficient accounting processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless accounting operations

Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com graduate (freshers welcome)
• Strong understanding of debit/credit rules and bank reconciliation
• Proficient in MS Excel, including SUM/SUMIF, VLOOKUP, and basic Pivot Tables
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Xero certification (desired but not required)
