About the Role

In this role as a Walk In Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, financial statement preparation, and tax returns. You will also be involved in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

As a Walk In Accountant, you will work closely with the finance team to identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, tracking, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns, including income tax and GST returns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting software and systems.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in accounting software, including Tally and QuickBooks.
• Experience with GST and income tax returns.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
