About the Role
As an Associate Customer Service representative at Sutherland, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns. Your day-to-day tasks will involve handling customer calls, emails, and chats, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to senior team members. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and providing feedback to improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and chat platforms.
- Provide accurate and timely solutions to customer queries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Escalate complex customer issues to senior team members or supervisors as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including call logs, email correspondence, and chat transcripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including first call resolution rates, customer satisfaction scores, and average handling time.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Customer service experience, preferably in a call center or BPO environment.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
