AI Operations Specialist

About the Role

As an AI Operations Specialist at Target, you will play a key role in delivering meticulous decision-making while ranking items based on relevancy judgement. This involves utilizing data insights to streamline internal search and enable Machine Learning, ultimately driving business growth and improving guest experience.

You will be responsible for owning exceptional product knowledge, deciding on listing items on Target.com, and acting as a catalyst in increasing the basket size for our guests by optimizing findability of most relevant items for guest queries.

Key Responsibilities

• Completes item set-ups within the assigned level of service via partnership with merchant teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendor partners.
• Drives data accuracy and ensures consistency across categories, collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate and remediate data according to category strategy.
• Evaluates launch readiness through troubleshooting, remediating, and communicating about launch blocks, system issues, and content generation with external vendors and internal partners.
• Develops best methods and identifies process improvements and efficiencies, aiding in the development of new procedures and workflows.
• Communicates effectively with vendor partners, merchant teams, and other support partners, utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizes and prioritizes workload to meet assigned level of service, managing multiple tasks and deadlines with a high sense of urgency and initiative.

Skills & Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency and initiative.
• Detail-oriented and naturally curious, with a willingness to research root issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Machine Learning and data accuracy.
