Software Engineer - Backend (Java, Spring boot, Microservices)

About the Role

Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable Backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs with enterprise platforms and API Gateway solutions.
• Contribute to DevOps and GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Bamboo, and ArgoCD.
• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot applications on Managed OpenShift / Kubernetes environments.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Entra ID, OAuth, and enterprise security patterns.
• Design and manage data persistence using technologies such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

What You'll Need

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot application development.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture, modular design, and clean coding principles.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices, preferably using GitLab CI and other GitOps based CD tools.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and K8 ecosystem of solutions.
