QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

As a QA Automation Engineer at testometer edutech, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary focus will be on writing efficient and effective test scripts using Python, Pytest, and Selenium, as well as testing REST APIs and integrating them with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will work closely with our development team to identify and prioritize testing needs, and collaborate with our quality assurance team to ensure that our testing processes are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated testing frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Selenium.
• Write efficient and effective test scripts to test REST APIs and integrate them with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize testing needs.
• Work with the quality assurance team to ensure that testing processes are efficient and effective.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Linux commands and their applications in testing.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools.
• Identify and report defects in a timely manner.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Python programming language.
• Experience with Pytest and Selenium for automated testing.
• Knowledge of REST API testing and framework development.
• Understanding of QA methodologies and defect tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of Linux commands and their applications in testing.
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge (good to have).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0-1 years of experience in QA automation or related field.
