Audiovisual Storyteller

About the Role

As an Audiovisual Storyteller at The Digital Hike, you will be responsible for crafting engaging visual narratives for various software-related projects. This involves conceptualizing, planning, and executing audiovisual content that effectively communicates the message and resonates with the target audience.

Day-to-day, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling stories, design visually appealing graphics, and edit high-quality videos using industry-standard tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop engaging audiovisual content for software-related projects, including video scripts, storyboards, and visual treatments.
• Collaborate with designers, writers, and developers to ensure cohesive storytelling and visual branding across all project deliverables.
• Design and create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects using After Effects and other industry-standard tools.
• Edit high-quality videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project requirements.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of software-related projects, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Work closely with the production team to plan and execute video shoots, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting project deadlines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to enhance the overall visual narrative and storytelling.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications, Film, or a related field.
• Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of motion graphics and visual effects using After Effects.
• Experience with graphics design and visual branding.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Basic knowledge of software development and emerging technologies.
