About the Role

The Solutions Engineer (SE) will serve as the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers, guiding them in the selection and deployment of Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions.

You will take joint ownership with the Sales team in developing customer relationships, providing leadership in security architecture, and helping influence customer's technical strategy with strong problem-solving skills.

This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, risks, tolerance, and technology gaps, as well as the ability to develop and implement solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, risks, tolerance, and technology gaps.
  • Guide customers and prospects in the selection and deployment of Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions.
  • Take joint ownership with the Sales team in developing customer relationships and providing leadership in security architecture.
  • Help influence customer's technical strategy with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Conduct routine updates on new products and technologies to internal sales staff.
  • Work closely with Regional/Global Product Manager and Product Marketing Manager to obtain the latest product/technology know-how.
  • Deliver engaging technical demonstrations highlighting Trend Micro products' advantages and benefits via solid messaging, presentation skills, and public speaking.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Rich experience in delivering high-quality presales support and solutions.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of SOC operations, security analytics capabilities, cloud architect understanding, cloud native application security, SASE, CASB, Zero trust model.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft O365, Azure, Google, AWS services.
  • Exposure to security software solutions like Firewall, Content Security, Intrusion prevention, encryption, data leakage, data protection, and monitoring security.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • A strong interest in all aspects of cybersecurity and a passion for customer security.
  • Excellent understanding of public cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

What You'll Learn

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in delivering high-quality presales support and solutions, developing a deep understanding of customer needs, and influencing customer technical strategy.
