About the Role

As a CA Trainee in GST at Trent, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and submission of GST returns, conducting GST audits, and ensuring compliance with GST procedures and laws. You will work closely with the finance team to reconcile financial transactions and maintain accurate records. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those with 0-4 years of experience in indirect taxation and GST.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and submission of GST returns, ensuring timely and accurate filing.
• Conduct GST audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with GST laws and procedures.
• Reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of GST transactions.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in GST laws, procedures, and regulations, and implement these changes in the organization's GST compliance processes.
• Assist in the implementation of GST compliance processes and procedures in the organization.
• Provide support to the finance team in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Skills & Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
• Strong knowledge of indirect taxation, GST laws, and procedures.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and other relevant software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in indirect taxation and GST.
