Risk Management Trainee - Chartered Accountant (Tamil Nadu)

About the Role

In this role, you will assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks associated with lending and investments. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop and implement risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth.
• Develop and maintain risk management models, including loss projection models and risk dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct credit risk assessments and provide recommendations for loan approvals or rejections.
• Monitor and report on portfolio performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring our risk management practices remain best-in-class.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including credit teams, risk managers, and business leaders.

Skills & Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
• Experience with risk management software and systems, such as risk dashboards and loss projection models.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, including Basel III and IFRS.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
