About the Role
As a CA Intern at UBS, you will be working closely with the Financial Accounting & Control (FAC) team to apply your knowledge of accounting and finance principles to real-world scenarios. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations for remediation. You will also have the opportunity to work on various projects, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the team's growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply accounting and finance principles to analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement recommendations for remediation to enhance financial controls and processes.
- Collaborate with the FAC team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- CA (Chartered Accountant) certification.
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of financial software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
