CA Intern

About the Role

As a CA Intern at UBS, you will be working closely with the Financial Accounting & Control (FAC) team to apply your knowledge of accounting and finance principles to real-world scenarios. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing recommendations for remediation. Key Responsibilities

• Apply accounting and finance principles to analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement recommendations for remediation to enhance financial controls and processes.
• Collaborate with the FAC team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

• CA (Chartered Accountant) certification.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of financial software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
