Customer Relationship Officer

About the Role

In this role as a Customer Relationship Officer at Ujjivan Financial Services, you will be responsible for managing banking relationships with 650 families within a specific geographic area. Your primary objective will be to offer a full range of banking services, acquire new customers for Group Lending business, and upsell loans to suitable customers and their family members.

You will also be responsible for generating quality leads for cross-selling third-party products, providing timely loan services to eligible repeat and top-up customers, and adhering to defined processes and circulars.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet targets on Group Loans (GL) in terms of open market acquisition and repeat GL loans.
• Convert GL customers, family members, and referrals for Family Banking in terms of opening Savings Accounts and maintaining minimum balance.
• Actively source term deposits (FD and RD) from Family members of GL customers.
• Offer suitable Insurance products to customers and family members to provide adequate insurance coverage.
• Identify, process, and refer GL customers who can be potentially given Individual loans either unsecured/secured.
• Ensure customers and Family members are educated about the entire bouquet of banking products offered by Ujjivan.
• Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate services.

Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate degree in any field.
• 0-1 year experience in product sales, banking, or collection.
• Knowledge on unsecured products.
• Basic Computer knowledge (MS Office, Outlook).
• Ease of technology usage.
• Fluency in local languages and working knowledge of English.
• Product selling skills.
• Willingness to travel and relocation as per business requirements and career opportunities.
