Gold Loan Officer (Guwahati)

About the Role

As a Gold Loan Officer at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, you will be responsible for promoting and selling gold loan products to customers, identifying potential customers, and building strong relationships with existing customers. You will also be involved in the valuation of gold ornaments, documentation, and loan processing.

This role requires a strong understanding of customer needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers for gold loan products through various sales channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase customer loyalty and retention.
• Conduct gold appraisals to determine the value of gold ornaments and ensure accurate valuation.
• Process gold loan applications, including documentation and loan disbursement.
• Upsell and cross-sell other bank products to customers to increase revenue.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor analysis, and product knowledge to provide the best possible service to customers.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales and marketing skills, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Good understanding of customer relationship management principles and practices.
• Basic knowledge of financial products and services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
