About the Role
As a Full Stack WordPress Developer at UNext Learning, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications using WordPress as the core platform. Your primary focus will be on building scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions that meet the requirements of our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of features and functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement REST APIs to integrate third-party services and enhance the overall user experience.
- Collaborate with the front-end team to ensure seamless integration of UI components and design elements.
- Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure WordPress applications using AWS services.
- Work with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs, and ensure that the application meets the required standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress best practices, security patches, and feature updates.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Strong understanding of PHP, including object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, and Node.js.
- Knowledge of database management systems, including MySQL and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control systems, including Git.
- Understanding of REST APIs and their implementation in WordPress.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in WordPress development.
