Junior Software Engineer

About the Role

As a Junior Software Engineer at Ur Technology and Computers, you'll be part of a dynamic team that crafts innovative software solutions for clients worldwide. Your primary responsibilities will involve writing clean, maintainable, and tested code under the guidance of senior engineers, focusing on developing responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and tested code under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs using Node.js or Go.
• Participate actively in code reviews and agile ceremonies.
• Debug production issues and write automated tests to prevent regressions.
• Continuously learn new technologies and apply them to internal tooling.

Skills & Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent bootcamp experience).
• Strong foundational knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Personal portfolio demonstrating complex projects or active GitHub contributions.
• Basic understanding of Git, version control, and web architecture.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a hunger to learn rapidly.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to ask the right questions.
