About the Role

In this Embedded Cybersecurity role at Utthunga, you'll be responsible for ensuring the security of embedded systems and firmware, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and implementing countermeasures to prevent cyber threats. Your work will involve analyzing and debugging firmware, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement secure protocols and tools. This role requires a strong understanding of firmware, RF protocols, and protocol tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware security protocols to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of RF protocols and their vulnerabilities, staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and countermeasures.
• Analyze and debug firmware to identify potential security issues and implement fixes to prevent cyber threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development and engineering, to develop and implement secure protocols and tools.
• Develop and maintain Python tooling to support firmware security analysis and debugging.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and countermeasures, and recommend improvements to existing security protocols and tools.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of firmware, RF protocols, and protocol tooling.
• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with Python tooling.
• Experience with firmware security analysis and debugging.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex security issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
