About the Role

This Crew Coordinator role is responsible for ensuring the smooth onboarding process of crew members, including visa processing, document verification, and training enrollments.

You will work closely with the crew cell team to maintain accurate records, provide administrative support, and ensure compliance with control procedures.

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and can multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process visas and joining formalities for crew members in a timely manner.
  • Verify and ensure completeness and authenticity of pre-joining documents.
  • Coordinate pre-joining preparations, including certifications, courses, tests, and medical examinations.
  • Maintain regular communication with crew members during leave and mobilization.
  • Handle training enrollments and coordinate with training centres and medical providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in ShipSure crewing and upload required documents.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS-Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • No prior experience required, but a keen interest in the field of business and operations is essential.
