Junior Site Accountant

About the Role

As a Junior Site Accountant at Van bros construction, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records of the construction site, including cash books, stock registers, and labour attendance records. You will also be involved in coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth financial operations. Your primary goal will be to provide timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including cash books, stock registers, and labour attendance records.
• Coordinate with various teams, including procurement, HR, and site engineers, to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Process inward and outward challans, bills, and other financial documents.
• Verify and reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.
• Identify and report any financial discrepancies or anomalies to the management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws, regulations, and company policies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Tally or QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
