Java Backend Developer

About the Role

This Java Backend Developer role involves designing, developing, and deploying robust Java microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful API patterns. You will work on high-performance backend systems for clients across various domains, including BFSI, E-commerce, and Logistics.

As a Java engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing database interactions, integrating with message brokers, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. You will also collaborate closely with frontend and QA teams to define contract-first APIs and drive end-to-end system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust Java microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful API patterns.
• Optimize database interactions with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, writing efficient queries and implementing caching via Redis or Hazelcast.
• Integrate with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and build event-driven architectures for async processing and scalability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, ensuring automated testing, build, and deployment flows.
• Collaborate closely with frontend and QA teams to define contract-first APIs and drive end-to-end system reliability.
• Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, or APM tools, identifying bottlenecks and resolving production issues proactively.
