Java Backend Developer

About the Role

This Java Backend Developer role is all about building high-performance backend systems for clients across various domains. You'll design, optimize, and sustain mission-critical applications that handle millions of transactions daily, leveraging modern Spring ecosystems and cloud-native patterns.

As a Java engineer in this role, you'll work on designing, developing, and deploying robust Java microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful API patterns. You'll also optimize database interactions, integrate with message brokers, and implement CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust Java microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful API patterns.
• Optimize database interactions with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle—writing efficient queries and implementing caching via Redis or Hazelcast.
• Integrate with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and build event-driven architectures for async processing and scalability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions—ensuring automated testing, build, and deployment flows.
• Collaborate closely with frontend and QA teams to define contract-first APIs and drive end-to-end system reliability.
• Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, or APM tools—identifying bottlenecks and resolving production issues proactively.
